As a parent we want to be able to "fix" any pain our children have, so being a grandparent of an angel puts us in a very unique situation. Not only have we lost a beloved grandbaby, but our own child is going through the hardest time of their life and we can't "fix" it. As a grandparent you may also feel the need to be strong for your child and we all know being strong all the time takes a lot of effort. We want grandparents to know that they are not alone and that they have a place where they can share and help encourage and support each other. ©2004 Deena McCauley |
