Do you qualify to apply for a grant from the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption?
1. Is your organization a U.S. or Canadian tax-exempt organization?
2. Does your mission support the adoption of children from the foster care system?
3. Is your organization dynamic, performance-driven and action-oriented?

We realize that seeking funding can be a time consuming process. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is able to fund only a small percentage of the requests that we receive. Please learn about our funding priorities and our grant review criteria before making application.

The Program Committee of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees approves Dave Thomas Foundation Grants in consultation with experts in the field of adoption. By supporting a range of projects that promote the adoption of waiting children, the Foundation has helped to improve and enrich the lives of thousands of children and families.

Our Grantmaking Pledge:

	We will promptly acknowledge receipt of your application in writing.
	All submissions will be carefully reviewed to determine if they relate to the Foundation’s funding priorities. Applications that meet the funding priorities of the Foundation will be screened in depth. The review process takes several weeks.
	All applicants are notified in writing of the Foundation’s funding decision.

	Click on "Application" and download the application outline form and cover sheet. Follow the instructions to submit the application.
